What is your emotional response to the book thus far?
The book is good so far. Her choices she made wasn't good the people she hung with and the party's she went to. It seem as the first time she ever got drugs she was addicted. Her supposed to be boyfriend she should never trusted because why would your boyfriend want you to sell drugs for him. But so far it hasn't been real emotionally for me because nothing real bad has happened to her. When she was first hooked I she should of went to see a doctor got some help in the first place instead of wait in the future. Ever since it seems as she will never give up drugs no matter what happens to her. But since drugs was introduced to her i think she will have a hard time the rest of her life.

You're right. She shouldn't have gotten involved with her "boyfriend", but she thought she was in love. Love causes you to do some stupid things I guess. But I was, unlike you, affected emotionally by the book thus far and by the book as a whole. I think that getting into the mind set of a drug abuser is emotional and challenging. It's hard to comprehend.
